Nio Garcia and Casper Mágico Dominate 2020

(Orlando, FL - December 14, 2020) - During 2020, Nio García and Casper Mágico were consolidated as the new creators of perreo after receiving the most important certifications and taking over the most important global and Latin music charts.

The most important recognition, this year, for Nio and Casper, was that less than two years after its release, the mega hit "Te Boté" Remix, along with Darell, Ozuna, Bad Bunny, and Nicky Jam, was certified by the RIAA with the the biggest Diamante award in history.

Also, their first album together, Now or Never, debuted at # 5 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, at # 4 on Latin Rhythm Albums chart, # 22 on the Independent Albums and # 136 on the Billboard 200. It should be noted that it was the first time that both Puerto Rican artists have conquered the Billboard charts together with an album.

On his end, Nio Garcia’s “La Jeepeta” lit up the summer by releasing a hot remix with Anuel and Myke Towers. The song took over Billboard’s year-end charts and ended at No. 10 on the Hot Latin Songs final chart and at No. 17 on Latin Streaming Songs. On Spotify, Jeepeta remix culminated as one of the Best Reggaeton Songs on the Baila Reggaeton chart by landing at No. 10 accumulating over 359 millions streams in 8 months.

To end the year in the right path, Nio and Casper unleashed their song “Travesuras” which already was the top debut on the November 30th US & Global Spotify Viral Chart, debuting at #4 in the world & at #6 in the US.

Definitely, 2020 established a before and after in Nio Garcia and Casper Mágico’s career. But, 2021 promises to be full of more reggaeton hits alongside their label, Flow La Movie, and distributor, GLAD Empire.
